Overview: The Cornell Executive MBA program combines a comprehensive, integrated curriculum with the broad cross-functional knowledge required by general managers. Program Format: The Cornell Executive MBA Program is divided into four terms.
Program Schedule: Each term begins with a week in residence on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. Following each of the four residence weeks, classes meet on alternate weekends (Saturday morning until Sunday noon) at the IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center near New York City. Graduates earn the Cornell Master of Business Administration degree within 22 months.

While on the Cornell campus for the residence weeks, students attend classes in Sage Hall, a renovated Victorian landmark that provides sophisticated technology in a unique educational setting. Students stay at the Statler Hotel, managed by Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration.
Curriculum: Cornell provides an integrated curriculum that takes students from main fundamentals of business to advanced organizational production. The Executive MBA program is sequenced so that each course builds on to the content of previous courses, allowing opportunity for students to apply what they’ve learned to real-life business situations.
Class Profile: The average age of students in the Cornell EMBA program are 34, with 11 years of professional, full-time work experience.
Admission Requirements: When selecting candidates, the admission committee considers key factors including organizational experience, academic readiness, ability to contribute to the class and team structured learning environments, and motivation and commitment to the EMBA program as a whole.
To be considered for the Cornell EMBA Program applicants must submit an online application form, a resume, an organizational chart (a view of your current organization and position there), personal statements (there are two required statements and a third option statement), official transcripts for all post-secondary education, two letters of reference (a third letter is recommended in some cases), a GMAT score report, an application fee of $150, and an interview.
