Overview: The Executive MS degree in Finance at Baruch College combines financial theory and financial management problems so that students are given a comprehensive view of the world of finance. Students learn to sharpen their critical and strategic thinking skills in order to use the applications learned in the program and apply them to real life. The Executive MS in Finance in specifically designed for those individuals interested in pursuing a career in finance and financial analysis.
Program Format: Classes are taught on the Baruch College campus in New York, New York. Class size is small, so students are able to better collaborate with their peers and faculty. There is a strong emphasis on group work.
Program Schedule: The program’s duration is one year. The full-time, 30-credit program is designed for cohort groups of working professionals. Classes are taught on Saturdays, and also on one evening a week. The program of study is divided into three 13-week trimesters. An important part of the program is a required one-week international study tour between the second and third trimesters of the program.

Class Profile:
Admission Requirements: To apply to the program applicants must hold a 4-year degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or a recognized equivalent; an official transcript should be sent to the office of admission for processing. Additionally, a one-page resume should be submitted. Two recommendation letters are also required; one letter should come from a current employer, and the second should come from a previous employer or professor who knows you well. The recommendation form should be used, which can be found on the Baruch College website. Official GRE scores should be sent to the office of admission; applicants must take the exam no later than 15 days before an application deadline. Applicants should have several years of work experience if applying to the MS program.
